How this works
Loading a squad
"Load Squad Sample" for a demo squad, or "Load Squad File" for your own CSV.
If the file covers more than one age group, you'll be asked which squad to load.
Duplicate rows for the same player (same name + birthdate) are merged automatically, keeping the most recent one.
Moving players
Drag a card onto another team's card list to drop it at that exact spot, or onto a team's name/header to just add it to the end.
Or click a card once to pick it up, then click a destination — click the same card again or press Esc to cancel.
The ▲▼ arrows on a card nudge it up/down within its current list.
The ‹› arrows on a team's header move that whole team left/right.
"Auto select team" only fills in players still in Unassigned — anyone already placed is left alone.
Viewing
"Compact view" shrinks cards to name-only; hover one to pop out its full details.
"Filter" highlights players by school, age, or experience — checking several narrows it further (combines across categories).
A red card (compact view only) means none of that player's requested friends ended up on their team.
Team details
Click a team's name to rename it, or the coloured dot to change its kit colour.
Coach and Manager fields are per team.
Saving your work
"Save" downloads a CSV — reload that same file later and every team, colour, and coach/manager is restored exactly.
"Export" copies a readable list for pasting into a message or document.
Your work also autosaves to this browser, so refreshing the page won't lose it. "Clear" wipes it and starts over.
